$50,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller champion Dylan Linde
A couple of weeks back, Dylan Linde won the $50,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller for his 3rd WSOP bracelet and a career best $2,146,414. The win also vaulted Linde into the WSOP Player of the Year conversation, but at the time, he said he wasn't really interested in stepping up the grind the rest of the summer to chase POY.
The all-time tournament money leader for Idaho is a man of his word, as before making the money today in the Main Event, Linde had only added one other cash since his bracelet win.
We caught up with him earlier today to ask him how his summer has been since then, and as promised, the grind hasn't been a part of it.
"Relaxing. I took a bunch of days off and have just kind of been working on moving in stuff and house stuff, and just letting Benny (Glaser) and Shaun (Deeb) chase the Player of the Year. I'm just enjoying poker and playing. It's been nice."
Linde joked about "satelliting OUT of the $50,000 High Roller" by making a deep run in the Main, but his day ended in 1,068th place for $17,500, which at least earned him a discount into his latest High Roller adventure, as he has indeed hopped into the event.
