The heads-up fever is in the air and PokerGO has the only prescription. Hint: it's more action.

The fourth iteration of High Stakes Duel returns to PokerGO May 8th-9th and the combatants in the ring this time are Daniel Negreanu and Eric Persson. This match will mark the second appearance on High Stakes Duel for Negreanu. The previous bout, against Phil Hellmuth, did not go Negreanu's way.

Negreanu and Persson start Round One of their battle on the 8th at 8:00PM ET with $50,000 stacks in front of them. Round Two kicks off at the same time on the 9th, but with a bump in stakes and each player putting up $100,000. Both rounds of the Negreanu vs. Persson match will air exclusively on PokerGO.

There are slight changes to the rules for High Stakes Duel. According to these new rules, the player who wins two consecutive matches earns the title of champion. If Negreanu and Persson split the first two rounds, the loser of Round Two may challenge their opponent to Round Three. The loser must challenge immediately, however, or that player is eliminated.

In addition, for the first time ever, there's an undercard matchup scheduled between Shaun Deeb and Mike Matusow. The undercard battle takes place Friday, May 5th, with each player putting $10,000 on the line. The one-and-done match is free to watch on PokerGO and the PokerGO YouTube.
