Registering for Tampa Poker Classic events

The 2021 Tampa Poker Classic takes place in the poker room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, Florida. The 46-table poker room stands as one of the most popular live poker venues in the state of Florida.

The Tampa Poker Classic continues a tradition of major tournament festivals emanating from the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa poker room.

Registration for all tournaments is available on-site at the poker room. Look for the cashier’s cage when you arrive at the venue, or check out the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa poker blog for more information.

The eight trophy events in the series run at buy-ins from $150 up to $1,700 for the Main Event. Satellites to Events #2, #5, #6, and the Main Event also run throughout the series.

The first Main Event satellite runs Wednesday, Feb. 24 at a $250 buy-in. That tournament marks the first of seven satellite qualifiers to the $1,700 Main Event, the last of which runs Saturday, Feb. 27.

The Main Event itself featured three opening day flights (Feb. 25-27), with surviving players from those flights coming back for Day 2 on Sunday, Feb. 28. If needed, the Main Event will extend play until Monday, March 1.

Accommodations

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is a AAA Four-Diamond rated resort, so staying there and enjoying a short walk to the poker room is probably your best bet if you’re traveling to Tampa for the series.

The resort offers special rates for tournament players, but the dates around and during the Main Event could already be sold out.

Several other hotels are situated within a couple of miles of the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa. Some of those options include the Red Roof Inn Tampa Fairgrounds, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tampa, La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tampa, and Comfort Suites at Fairgrounds.
