Live Las Vegas series guarantees $2.5 million and runs from March 3-22

March 2021 shapes up as a big month for live poker tournament action in Las Vegas. Poker rooms on the Strip play host to dueling major poker series at the Venetian (WPT DeepStacks) and the Wynn.

The Wynn Poker Room hosts the 2021 Wynn Spring Classic from March 3 through March 22. The live series offers more than $2.5 million in guaranteed prize money over three weeks of action.

The centerpiece events of the series come as a pair of $1 million guaranteed tournaments. Check out this Poker.org guide to playing in the Wynn Spring Classic:

Registration and structure for Wynn Spring Classic Events

Registration for all 2021 Wynn Classic events must be conducted on-site at the Wynn Poker Room. The poker room is situated in the Wynn/Encore casino property on the Las Vegas Strip.

The series kicks off with a $600 buy-in, $250,000 guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em event on March 3. The $600 No-Limit event offers three starting flights, one per day from March 4-6.

The surviving players from those flights return to the Wynn on March 7 and play down to a champion.

That $250,000 guarantee plays as a warmup to a pair of million-dollar prize pool events later in the series. The first of those comes in the form of the $3,500 NLH Championship, scheduled for March 12-14.

The $3,500 NLH championship offers players two chances to advance to Day 2, with Day 1A playing out on March 12, and Day 1B commencing March 13.

Players making it through those two flights return for Day 2 action on March 14. The tournament sees the field trim down to the final table on Day 2, and the final nine players return March 15 to play for the lion’s shares of the $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The second of the two $1 million events plays out March 18-22. The $1,600 No-Limit Hold’em event offers a trio of Day 1 flights (March 18-20).

From there, surviving players come back to the Wynn Poker Room on March 21 and play down to a final table. The final nine come back to finish out the tournament and crown a six-figure champion March 22.

Also on the slate is a $10,500 NLH High Roller, set for March 11. The High Roller will likely draw some of poker’s biggest names to the Wynn.
