WSOP Day 36: Here's what's on the docket.

The $1,000 Mini Main Event will play out its final Day 1 starting flight today – expect a big field.

The $5K 6-Handed NLH enters Day 3 play with 60 players remaining. Andrew Lichtenberger is in the hunt with a Top 10 stack.

Shaun Deeb's cold summer might come to an end as he leads the 13 remaining players in the $1,500 8-Game Mixed.

Joey Couden Defeats Shaun Deeb Shaun Deeb can partially salvage his summer with a big finish today.

After Day 1 play in the $10K Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship, only 75 players remain.

We've also got two events kicking off today – the $100K High Roller PLO and the $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball.

Watch out for late-reg traffic jams: Especially if any Brits are driving on the wrong side of the road.

The UK's Patrick Leonard witnessed a last second influx of 187 Euros "scooping up max late reg ev" in the $5K NLH on Monday.

And yes, he did fess up to being one of the 187 himself.

This 5k late reg situation is absolutely hilarious lol 517 people have just been full redrawn because 187 euros came in last second scooping up max late reg ev lol

Shaun Deeb leads the field in $1,500 8-Game Mix: The 2025 WSOP Player of the Year will hit Tuesday's final day at the head of a 13-strong pack that also features Blaz Zerjav and Viktor Blom - the latter still (somehow) searching for his first WSOP bracelet.

Everyone's guaranteed $9K but will be playing for the $181K up top.

The $5K 6-Max is halfway there: 2 of the scheduled 4 days are in the books, with 60 of the 1,402 entrants still shooting for the $979K first prize.

They'll return on Tuesday at noon to blinds of 10K/20K and an average stack of around 1.1M. The current top 10 includes the likes of Boris Angelov, Paulius Vaitekunas and Andrew 'LuckyChewy' Lichtenberger.

Andrew Lichtenberger Andrew Lichtenberger.

75 survive Day 1 of $10K Stud 8 Championship: Matt Grapethien and Bryce Yockey (below) are within a single chip of each other at the top of the chip counts.

The 156-entrant field was cut in half during the first day's play, but expect the field to grow a little more on Day 2 as registration remains open for a full level after the 1pm restart on Tuesday.

Michael Mizrachi wins $10K PLO ($1,350,203): It took longer than Mizrachi thought it would but the result is the same – he is now a nine-time WSOP bracelet winner. "They took away from my dinner plans a little bit," Mizrachi told us afterward. "I thought it would take about 44 minutes." Zurvan Tumboli takes home $900,088 for second.

That's nine WSOP bracelets for Michael Mizrachi.

Matthew Higgins wins $1K Mystery Millions ($1,000,000): He maneuvered his way through a field of 22,811 to claim his first WSOP bracelet. Dominik Panka has to make do with $640,000 for second place.

Matthew Higgins vs. Dominik Panka heads-up in Mystery Millions: Higgins has a big chip lead, 700M to 200M, with the winner taking home $1 million. They're playing for a $360K pay jump heads-up from a $1K buy-in. Incredible stuff.

$10K – Michael Mizrachi hits speed bump: Zarvan Tumboli has just won a big pot to almost double up. Both players made full houses, but Tumboli's was better. Mizrachi still holds the chip lead, but it's not as big as it was.

  • Michael Mizrachi: 35M
  • Zarvan Tumboli: 15M

$10K PLO – Michael Hahn eliminated in 3rd ($627,832): It's taken a while for Mizrachi to get his first scalp, but he finally claimed Hahn's and is now heads-up for his ninth bracelet with a 5:1 chip lead.

Dylan Smith wins $2,500 Mixed Big Bet ($182,591): It didn't take Smith long to rattle through the last remaining players. Matt Vengrin found one double-up heads-up, but it wasn't enough to stop Smith from claiming his first WSOP bracelet.

Naoya Kihara eliminated in 3rd ($78,984): There will be no third bracelet for Kihara tonight, but he came close. The $2,500 Mixed Big Bet is now heads-up. Dylan Smith holds a commanding chip lead of 10.9M to Matt Vengrin's 2.7M.

$1K Mystery Millions – David 'ODB' Baker eliminated in 7th ($176,000): An epic run comes to an end for Baker, who picks up a load of fantasy points and a great payday from a $1K buy-in. He's followed out the door by Vinay Boob in 6th, who takes home $225,000.

Joe Stapleton has an important message: He stuck his neck out yesterday while commentating on the Ladies Championship. On the Countdown Show, he read out a message from a fan named Paul that we're repeating here.

"Last night you all became heroes in our home. The poker community showed my transgender daughter what I've been telling her for years – the real poker community welcomes all.

"I'm 55 years old, married to my wife for 29 years, and mostly conservative. When our daughter Luna became Luna five years ago, it was a world I knew nothing about, but Jenny and I know about love, and Luna is one of the most loving people on the planet.

"I also have a passion for poker. Luna does not yet play poker outside our home but she does watch the World Series of Poker with me. Last night we watched every hand and more importantly, at least in our family, we watched the reactions of those at the event. We heard the support for Aubrey. We witnessed that support not only in the room but also in the broadcast booth.

"Luna is a great mathematician, and I believe she will be great at the game. I hope she now has a better understanding of the poker community as well. And now Luna has seen that even on poker's biggest stage, everyone is welcome."

Shaun Deeb leads the $1,500 8-Game Mixed: He's had a tough summer so far, but he's got daylight at the top of the chip counts. Daniel Negreanu is fourth with 50 players remaining.

Brad Owen eliminated in 8th ($15,128): He lost a big flip in NLH before Naoya Kihara took the rest of his chips to set up the final table in the $2,500 Mixed Big Bet.

  1. Dylan Smith: 3.7M
  2. Naoya Kihara: 3M
  3. Matt Vengrin: 1.9M
  4. Hiroyuki Noda: 1.7M
  5. Renan Bruschi: 1.3M
  6. Steve Billirakis: 950K
  7. Danny Chang: 890K

It's time to sweat: The $1,000 Mystery Millions and $2,500 Mixed Big Bet events are live now and, with less than 20 players remaining in each tournament, it's crunch time.

And there are serious WSOP Fantasy implications at play – read below for more.

Good news: If the $10K PLO Championship finishes early – entirely likely, given Michael Mizrachi already has nearly every chip in play with three remaining – the WSOP stream will switch to coverage of the hybrid online/live High Roller 6-Max.

That means we'll have a front row seat to what might be one of the most stacked final tables of the summer.

It’s been a quiet summer for me so far, but I’m playing Day 3 of the $2,500 Mixed Big bet in a few hours. There are 13 left, I’m 9th in chips. $180k+ for first! Hopefully I can make something happen. I’m doing updates on IG - bradowen1. There’s a new vlog out right now as well,…

Daniel Negreanu bags a big stack: In his latest vlog, he enters the $1,500 8-Game Mixed event after a change of plans – and it appears to have been the right move.

We've got an extra final table to sweat later today: The WSOP Online NLH High Roller 6-Max Championship is down to its final six players and its a stacked lineup.

Ethan 'Rampage' Yau has a shot at his second WSOP bracelet, but he'll have to overcome the likes of Nick Schulman, Shannon Shorr, Adrian Mateos, Dejan Kaladurdevic, and Pedro Neves to do so.

The hybrid online-live event played down to a final table in the virtual streets, but the winner will be crowned in the live arena.

This has to be the most stacked FT I’ve ever played in, let’s have fun tomorrow at 4pm in Paris :)

It's everyone's favorite day of the week: Monday brings WSOP Day 35, let's do this.

The $10K PLO Championship will crown a winner today as Michael Mizrachi holds a commanding lead over his two remaining opponents.

Naoya Kihara leads the 13 remaining players in the $2,500 Mixed Big Bet. With two bracelets already won this summer, Kihara will have a pretty good shot at a third when play resumes at 1:00PM local time.

Naoya Kihara Will Naoya Kihara complete the summer trifecta later today?

The $1,000 Mini Main Event will see action in Day 2A. Players will look to bag up big stacks later today and join the 194 survivors advancing from Day 1A.

When Day 2 play resumes at 12:00PM local time, the 348 remaining players in the $5K 6-Max NLH will battle down to a final table.

The $1,500 8-Game Mixed rolls into Day 2 action with 147 players remaining. Daniel Negreanu is in the mix, with a Top 5 stack.

And, last but not least, the $10K Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship kicks off with Day 1 action.

Mystery Millions bags up for the day: Just 24 players will be back to get this one done on Monday at 1pm, with $1 million waiting for the winner.

India's Vinay Boob leads the field with 97.3M chips, followed by David 'ODB' Baker with 75.8M. At the other end, Ren Lin is holding on for dear life with just 12.3M (8bb).

Oh, and the $1M top bounty prize? Gone, I'm afraid, pulled by Jonathan Schiller who just happened to be in the area for the bowling nationals. Full story below.

Naoya Kihara top again: What a summer Kihara is having. He's already won two bracelets and come close to a third. He'll have another chance tomorrow when he returns leading the final 15 players in the $2,500 Mixed Big Bet event. Kihara has almost double the chips of Dylan Smith in second.

Michael Mizrachi monster chip leader in $10K PLO: After Martin Zamani was eliminated in fourth for $445,080, the remaining three players bagged for the night. After a dominant day, Mizrachi ended with more than 80% of the chips in play. Unless things go very wrong tomorrow, he's on course for his ninth WSOP bracelet.

  1. Michael Mizrachi: 40,225,000
  2. Zarvan Tumboli: 5,500,000
  3. Michael Hahn: 4,450,000

It is now: Skye Chen wins the 2026 WSOP Ladies Championship! After a see-saw heads-up battle, Chen won a huge flip with pocket fours. Williams made the call with but couldn't find any of her outs on the runout.

It's not over yet. The chips went in for the win with for Aubrey Williams, while Skye Chen had . An on the flop left Williams with just a handful of big blinds, but she scored three double-ups to return to the 10 million chip mark.

  • Skye Chen - 20M
  • Aubrey Williams - 10M

Lisa Teebagy eliminated in 3rd ($93,149): It started as a flip, with Chen's pocket fives up against Teebagy's . After the flop, Teebagy had 17 outs. The turn wasn't one of them, instead giving Chen a winning full house.

Lisa Teebagy. Lisa Teebagy.

Michael Mizrachi bulldozing: The $10K PLO is also on a stream delay but the 2026 Main Event winner is gunning for his ninth bracelet here and is still chip leading the remaining 16 players.

Defending champion Michael Mizrachi was done on Day 1 this year.

Oh my, that was dramatic! Caitlin Comeskey eliminated in 4th ($67,735): Poker's a cruel game. Comeskey got it in bad after shoving with pocket fours and running into Lisa Teebagy's pocket aces. Comeskey flopped a set and fell to the ground, only to get back to her feet and watch the dealer peel off two clubs on the turn and river to give Teebagy a runner-runner flush. Teebagy is now the chip leader with three left.

Emily Spencer eliminated in 5th ($49,874): She started the day as the chip leader in the Ladies Championship but leaves in fifth after three-betting an UTG raise from Skye Chen and then calling the all-in.
