What followed was one of the fastest finishes of the series, as McEwen turned a chip lead into a title in under a level, closing it out in about 48 minutes.

McEwen slowed down with a check, and Alfa took the betting lead with a wager of 475,000. McEwen thought it over for about a minute before he announced he was all in. Alfa snap-called.

McEwen tabled , and Alfa was in disgust as he tabled . The river was irrelevant, and McEwen dragged the pot to send Alfa to the rail in third place.

Blinds: 40,000/80,000(80,000) - 4/340 Remain

Dave Alfa moved in from the small blind for about 820,000 before Justin Donato called from the big blind with only a few chips more.

Next hand, he would put in those chips from the small blind and get two callers. However, Donato's would ultimately lose to Charles Hopper's , which made two pair. Donato hit the rail in 4th place.

  • Charles Hopper - 2,000,000
  • Dave Alfa - 1,650,000
