Derek Sein-Lwin snatched the chip lead in the final minutes of the night

A huge day of poker, featuring 387 entries - 139 more than the spring Main Event here, has wrapped up, with the final 39 players bagging up for the night at the end of Level 17.

Headlining the survivors is former Cherokee WSOPC Main Event champion, Derek Sein-Lwin, who made a huge call in the dying minutes of the day to usurp Mini Main Event champion Aden Salazar for the chip lead.

Sein-Lwin shared the details of his massive pot with us.

After Salazar opened to 20,000 under the gun, Sein-Lwin three-bet from the button to 69,000. Salazar then four-bet to 225,000, and Sein-Lwin called.

On the flop, Salazar continued for 106,000 and Sein-Lwin called.

The fell on the turn, and Salazar moved in for about 200,000. Sein-Lwin tanked, using a couple of time extensions, but then found the call for his tournament life.

The board completed with the , and Sein-Lwin's aces and tens scored a dramatic victory to cap the day with a chip lead of 1,136,000.

Danny Clarkson's night ended on a sour note

After an open to 22,000 by Steven McKuin in early position, Danny Clarkson three-bet to 75,000 in late position. To his left, Jason Felix four-bet jammed about 250,000, which got McKuin to fold, but Clarkson called with the best of it.

The flop came , prompting a grunt of frustration from Clarkson. The board completed , and Felix made two pair to win the pot, ending Clarkson's night in ugly fashion.

Bin Duan was on the right end of a cooler until he wasn't

Bin Duan thought he had a magical spot to double back to the top of the chip leaders, but luck was on the side of Justin Shapiro in the biggest pot of the night.

Duan and Shapiro exchanged bets and raises until Duan had all of his roughly 350,000 chips in the middle, with Shapiro covering him.

Justin Shapiro was on the right end of some very good luck at the right time

The flop was immediately disastrous for Duan, coming . Duan would need to hit a two-outer of his own to survive, but the dealer instead completed the board to end Duan's day in shocking fashion, while Shapiro now contends for the end-of-night lead.
