Following Tuesday's conclusion to the three tiers of Pot-Limit Omaha Main Events, the PokerStars 2024 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) No-Limit Hold'em Main Events wrapped up Wednesday, crowning three new World Champions in the process.
The three NLHE Main Events (Low, Medium, and High) each played down to a winner today, with over $1.8M awarded in first-place prizes alone.
WCOOP 108-H: $10,300 World Championship of NLHE
The High Main Event garnered a field of 502 entries to generate a prize pool of $5,020,000, with $1,007,058 for the eventual winner. The action on prior days saw a star-studded lineup fight their way to the final table. Two-time WCOOP champion Guillaume 'Nolet20' Nolet led the others in the chip counts, but with names like Darrell 'FourSixFour' Goh, Pascal 'Pass 72' Lefrancois, Samuel '€urop€an' Vousden, Joao 'INeedMassari' Simao, and Preben 'prebz' Stokkan surrounding him at the table, victory was far from assured.
The entirety of the final table streamed live on the PokerStars Twitch channel, with cards-up coverage and commentary from James Hartigan, Joe Stapleton, Sam Grafton, and Maria Ho. In the end, Vousden managed to outmaneuver and outlast the table of crushers to claim his second WCOOP win of the series — his fifth WCOOP title overall – and the $1,007,058 top prize. Despite coming into the final table on a middling stack, Vousden chose his spots with precision and rode his momentum all the way to the win.

WCOOP 108-M: $1,050 World Championship of NLHE
The Medium Main Event drew a field of 3,865 entries to generate a prize pool of $3,856,000, with $551,206 for the first-place finisher. The final table kicked off with the United Kingdom's 'Riverbanged' in command of the chip lead. With multiple WCOOP title-holders at the table, including Andy 'BowieEffect' Wilson and Luis 'luisdono' Dono, who both picked up their first wins this year.
When the final hand was dealt, 'stek94' was the player with all the chips in front of them. After navigating their way through the stacked final table, 'stek94' stood alone atop the winner's podium, claiming the World Champion title and the $551,205 top prize.

WCOOP 108-L: $109 World Championship of NLHE
In the Low Main Event, 25,075 entries generated a prize pool of $2,507,500, with $254,806 for the eventual winner. Ukraine's '777ANTONY777' began final table proceedings with the chip lead, while notables Joao Mathias 'joaoMathias' Baumgarten and Sami 'Lrslzk' Kelopuro came in sixth and seventh in the counts respectively. After a seventh-place finish in yesterday's $10,300 Pot-Limit Omaha Main Event, Kelopuro earned himself another shot at a Main Event title.
Alas, it wasn't meant to be for Kelopuro in this Main Event either, as he bowed out in 6th. The final three players agreed to a deal when three-handed play began. After reaching an agreement, start-of-day chip leader '777ANTONY777' closed out the final table to claim the World Champion title and the $209,747 top prize.
