Online poker site 888poker launches a short summer tournament series next week, aimed at micro and mid-stakes tournament players.

The ChampionChip Series runs from July 14-23, with $500,000 GTD across 26 special ‘ChampionChip’ events and a number of side events. The $25 Main Event has a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool and takes the form of a Mystery Bounty tournament, with multiple Day 1s running from July 14, right up to the combined Day 2 on July 22. A final table will then be held on July 23, and streamed on the 888poker Twitch channel.

Mystery Bounty prizes in the Main Event will top out at $10,000, meaning you won’t need to win the tourney to win big.

Buy-ins from $3.30 to $55

Each tournament during the sports-themed series has an affordable buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool. In addition to the $100K GTD Main Event there’s a Mini Main, which follows the same format as its bigger sibling but with a buy-in of just $3.50 and a guarantee of $10,000. Day 1s for the Mini Main start from July 15, and its Day 2 will run concurrently with that of the Main Event on July 22.
