Thousands of players come to Las Vegas to play the WSOP. A very select few, including Phil Hellmuth and Daniel Negreanu, have access to VIP break rooms.
What do you have to do to get one? Just know that if you're asking, you've got no chance.
Hellmuth was getting talked through the contents of his green room during a break in the $5K NLH event – "You've got the extra-long sofa" – when Shaun Deeb jokingly interjected about getting one for himself. "Win another three bracelets, maybe they'll give you a f*****g room of your own," Hellmuth shot back.
Home from home
We've always wanted to get a peek inside to see how the other half lives, and Negreanu obliged in his latest WSOP vlog.
Inside, there's a full-length mirror, a wall of snacks, bottled water, and a Nespresso machine. He's also got a sofa that's been converted into a temporary bed with a couple of pillows if he fancies taking a nap.
There’s also a microwave, a fridge stocked with Gatorade and cold brews, and a freezer full of frozen meals.
You can see the full tour in Negreanu's vlog, with the 'Cribs' segment starting at 11:55.
Negreanu's vlogs
Negreanu drops a vlog a day at the WSOP, with most of them running to 30 minutes of behind-the-scenes content. If you want to know more about Negreanu off the table, they're a great way of doing that.
He mixes in hand recaps — there are three in this vlog — and chops everything into bite-size segments, so you can jump to the parts you want.
He also keeps a running tally of whether he's up or down at the WSOP. At the end of Day 3, he's currently down $15,000.
You can watch all the vlogs as they are released on Negreanu's YouTube channel.
