Kristen Foxen didn’t win the $25,200 No-Limit Hold’em finale at the 2026 US Poker Open in Las Vegas on Wednesday night.

But she wowed railbirds, including Patrick Leonard, with a move against eventual winner David Coleman four-handed.

After watching the hand, Leonard tweeted, "Insane, insane, insane. So good! Wow!!!"

Foxen pulls off stunning bluff

The board read when Foxen went to work. She turned top pair, but the river improved Coleman to two pair.

  • Kristen Foxen:
  • David Coleman:

Foxen bet 165K into the pot of 330K, only to see Coleman raise to 575K. Most players would make a crying call here. Some might find the fold. Foxen came back over the top to 1.2 million.

"Oh wow!" said Ali Nejad on commentary. "Of all the options, Brent, we did not see this out of Krissy."

"Absolutely filthy," said Brent Hanks. "Absolutely filthy, using that eight in her hand, a key card."

"This is so nifty," continued Nejad. "And just consider that she's left herself 395K back. Green has 585K. Would Kristen ever get herself into this kind of exchange with me, with less than tens up? That's the thought on Coleman's mind."

Coleman tanked and decided to fold.

Foxen gave him the choice of looking at one of her two cards – and ended up showing the ace with a big smile on her face.
