The PokerGO Tour (PGT) Super High Roller Bowl XI crowned a champion on Saturday as the five remaining players reconvened in the PokerGO Studio to battle it out.
When play began, Alex Foxen held the chip lead over the field – but with the likes of Nick Petrangelo, Adrian Mateos, Brandon Wilson, and Jeremy Ausmus to contend with, anything more than the $215,000 minimum cash was far from guaranteed.
Each of the five secured that sum late on Day 2 when Kristen Foxen was eliminated from contention on the money bubble. Foxen was one card away from bursting the money bubble herself when she had Wilson all-in for his tournament life on a board. Foxen had the best of it with
against Wilson's
, but the river
left her short-stacked.
Soon after, she took a stand with and found herself up against Wilson once again. In a cruel twist of fate, his
sent her to the exit on a
runout.
Wilson's double dose of run good capped the night and delivered the final five into the money.
And he continued to run good, and play well, on Day 3. When the dust cleared, he had all of the chips in play – laying claim to the $1,125,000 first-place prize and the Super High Roller Bowl XI title, his sixth on the PGT.

About an hour later, Ausmus followed suit.
In a blind versus blind confrontation, he sent the last of his chips in with . Petrangelo woke up with

Foxen went next, committing his chip with only to run smack dab into Wilson's
. The
flop left Foxen drawing all but dead and the turn
and river

The heads-up battle between Wilson and Petrangelo didn't last long.
