Anna Khait is having a difficult time accepting the reality that Joe Biden is the 46th President of the United States. The Russian-born former poker pro who blindly supports Donald Trump and claims to be a devout Christian, which many poker players aren't buying, believes the presidential election was stolen from her guy.
Biden, the former vice president, was sworn into office January 20 in Washington D.C. The Democratic politician pledges to unite the country, although it may difficult to get the hardcore MAGA crowd such as Khait on board. One quick glimpse at the player's Twitter page and you'll understand what we're talking about.
Khait appears to be obsessed with Biden being a supposed "fake" president. The only problem is he is in fact a real president, whether she likes it or not. He isn't just playing the role of president for an upcoming movie.
On Thursday, she wrote: "Joe Biden is about to show America what a great president Donald Trump was." That may be true in time, although the definition of a "great" president is highly subjective. But that doesn't change the fact that Biden is the 46th President of the United States, whether Anna Khait likes it or not.
But then again, Khait's predictions haven't gone so well for her recently. Following the November election, she swore up and down that God has a plan and that his plan will prevent Biden from ever stepping foot in the Oval Office. Of course, that claim was about as accurate as Mike Matusow predicting Daniel Negreanu would defeat Doug Polk in a heads-up poker battle.
Poker wasn't in God's plans, apparently
Khait continues to push the "God is in control" narrative on her Twitter timeline. She recently shared a passage from the Bible hinting at what may be up ahead for Biden.
"'Everything hidden and covered up will soon be exposed. The facade is falling down and nothing will be kept secret for long. Whatever you have spoken in private will be public and what you have whispered secretly behind closed doors will be broadcast for all to hear.'” Luke 12:2-3," Khait wrote.
Khait, a former contestant on the popular CBS reality TV show Survivor, quit poker last summer. She was fed up with the poker community insulting her over her vile and biased political posts. And also for, as many poker players claim, being a fake Christian. The Trump supporter went off on the poker community back in June.
"I used to have such respect for the poker community until I realized how much of a pathetic group of self-righteous, hypocritical, slanderer lefties they are. So easily triggered and hateful. (And most of them are complete losers). Pathetic. Grateful the Lord took me out!" she wrote.
Ryan D'Angelo (@g0lfa) said it best in response to Khait's mature retirement from poker speech: "Seems pretty hypocritical for your twitter *banner* to refer to the importance of being a peacemaker when you spread this kind of hate."
Touche, Ryan. It's going to be a long 4-8 years for Miss Khait.
