The World Series of Poker Circuit returns to the Hawkeye State, bringing 18 ring events and shots at poker glory beginning on September 4th, 2025. The Horseshoe Casino is a regular host to the WSOPC, and it will welcome players back for 12 days of non-stop poker action.
A full schedule of ring events
Buy-ins will range from $400 to $1,700 throughout the series. Of the 18 events, 14 are at the $400 price point, including the Mini Main Event from September 5-7.
For the non-hold'em players, the $400 PLO is on September 8th, and the $400 PLO 8/B is on September 9th.
The marquee $1,700 Main Event closes the series, running from September 12-15. It features two starting flights on Friday and Saturday with two re-entries available each day. Scott Allacher won the Main Event last time the Circuit came through for his career-best score of $83,865.
On the river just outside Omaha
If you've never been to Council Bluffs, it's just across the Missouri River — five miles outside Omaha, Nebraska. With 18 tables in the poker room, a 24-hour casino floor, and a full-service sportsbook, players can get their fill of whatever type of action they're looking for.
The most popular eatery spot on-site is Jack Binion's Steakhouse, open Tuesday - Saturday in the evenings.
