The Moneymaker Tour will make its triumphant return to the Palm Beach Kennel Club (PBKC) in West Palm Beach, Florida. From October 23 - November 4, the Moneymaker Tour and its loyal followers will descend on the PBKC Poker Room for an action-packed slate of events.
After venturing into international territory for the first time, the Moneymaker Tour will return to its unofficial home turf this month following a stop at the Caribbean Poker Series in Aruba. Notably, ACR Poker Pro Katie Lindsay made history in Aruba, becoming the first woman to win a Moneymaker Tour Main Event as she bested the 325-entrant field to claim the trophy and the top prize of $102,915 – her first six-figure score.
13 days, 29 trophy events
As usual, the Moneymaker Tour will offer its players a wide variety of events to choose from, with No-Limit Hold'em, Pot-Limit Omaha, and various mixed game events all part of the schedule. With buy-ins ranging from $86 to $1,100, there's an event for players of all bankroll sizes and multiple satellite events will allow for players to seize the moment and make a run in one of the higher buy-in events.
The $250,000 GTD Main Event, scheduled for October 31 - November 4, features a $1,100 buy-in and three starting flights to choose from. For those unable to make the trip, the final table will stream live on YouTube and Twitch on Monday, November 4. Before the action kicks off in the Main Event, the opening $150,000 GTD Moneymaker Multi Flight will run from October 23-27 with a $300 buy-in and seven starting flights to choose from.
Bounty hunters welcome
For fans of bounty hunting, there are numerous reasons to get excited. To kick things off, a one-day Mystery Bounty event starts the series on October 23, while the Ladies event will run Sunday, October 27, featuring a new format. The $300 buy-in event will see $100 awarded to each woman who knocks out another. Additionally, the first-ever PLO Bounty tournament will run Tuesday, October 29 and the Tag Team event returns to the schedule on Sunday, November 3.
With a complete schedule already available, players can plan ahead to ensure an optimal experience and make the most of the next Moneymaker Tour stop.
“As our tour continues to grow both domestically and internationally, Palm Beach, Florida will always be special to us as this is where it all started. We love coming to one of the greatest states for poker three times a year in South Florida and twice a year in Central Florida,” said Tony Burns, MM Tour Executive Manager.
“The players continue to come out in strong numbers to support both brands and we are thankful for that,” he added.
