On Wednesday, BetMGM Poker announced an exciting new addition to its team. Abby Merk, a professional poker player and winner of the Rising Star in Content Creation at the 2024 Global Poker Awards, joins Darren Elias as the organization's second-ever poker ambassador.

Merk and Elias are part of BetMGM's broader team of representatives, which includes big names like Jamie Foxx.

As part of her role within BetMGM, Merk will attend select live poker events and continue to create content across various social media platforms – namely, Instagram and YouTube, where she has over 100,000 combined followers.

Look out for Abby at all the big BetMGM live events.

Merk: Signing means the world

PokerOrg reached Merk for comment and she told us, "Signing with BetMGM means the world to me. I have always wanted to partner with a brand I can trust and that aligns with my values. BetMGM offers that and more, for me. From the people they employ directly to the people who play in their tournament series, everyone has made every single stop so special.

"As an ambassador, I will continue to work with the team to provide players with an amazing experience every time they play and grow the game of poker through entertaining and authentic content."

Casey Hubris, Chief Marketing Officer at BetMGM, “Abby Merk’s winning personality and love of poker reflect the type of excitement we are building in the poker community. She is a fantastic addition to our stable of ambassadors and we look for her to build on her strong connection with her audience with her authentic style of storytelling.”

Abby has worked with PokerOrg before (see below) and we can't wait to hook up with her again on the floor of the biggest BetMGM live events.
