Brazil's Aguiar spins it up to win WSOP Online Ladies bracelet

Brazil's Rosana Thorlay Aguiar has claimed the title in Event #5 of the WSOP Online International $500 NLH Ladies Championship, as early-event action continues in the GGPoker-hosted festival. Thorlay, a relatively unheralded player with just three small recorded cashes before this event, satellited in to this online championship and parlayed the seat into WSOP gold, along with a $16,512.63 payday.

Thorlay's win came at the expense of Vietnamese pro Dinh Khanh, who settled for the runner-up's payday of $12,730.90. 'UnoCoon' claimed $9,818.41 for placing third. The event drew 186 entries and paid out an $88,380 prize pool.

Goyal snares Bounty PLO gold

In Event #4, $840 Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha, India's Tarun 'Uncapped' Goyal claimed the bracelet and a huge combined (prize and bounties) payout of $109,561.73. Goyal, a rising online star in India, outdueled GGTeam member Tony Lin for the win. Lin earned a combined $55,653.58 for second, while Norway's Andreas Torbergson scored a combined $43,338.95 for third.

The bounty PLO tourney attracted 881 entries and paid out a combined prize pool of $704,800.

'TiananmenSquare' takes down the online Monster Stack

In Event #6, $1,500 Monster Stack NLH, the US's Eric Kindred earned his own first WSOP bracelet. Playing from Ecuador under his 'TiananmenSquare' screen name, Kindred topped a big 1,437-entry field to win $263,719.93. Kindred bested Mexico's Alejandro 'ibillion' Quezada for the win, leaving Quezada to collect $203,355.06 for his own deep run. Third place and $156,808.13 went to Kazakhstan's Sergei Varnaev. India's Tarun Goyal, winner of Event #4, made his second final table of the series here.
