Caesars Entertainment, one of the top casino brands in the world, is hiring poker dealers at card rooms all across the United States. If you're looking to begin a new career or have experience dealing poker, now is the time to find a job with poker rooms expanding and reopening everywhere.
Over the past 10 days, Caesars has listed hundreds of job postings on sites such as Indeed and Glassdoor, two top job boards. And there's a pretty good chance if you live in the United States, there's a job opening not too far away, especially if you're willing to relocate.
Caesars Entertainment, a casino with over 50 properties and 54,000 employees, is based out of Reno, Nevada. But the company's biggest operations take place in Las Vegas, about 450 miles south of Reno.
In Las Vegas, the company operates nine casino resorts, eight of which are on the Strip. Caesars' most popular casino is Caesars Palace, one of the oldest Las Vegas casinos (built in 1966). Additionally, Caesars owns the rights to the World Series of Poker, which is hosted at the Rio, a property Caesars sold in 2019 but continues to operate at least until the end of the year.
If you're looking for seasonal work and want to enjoy some amazing weather in the fall, Caesars will soon be hiring temporary dealers for the WSOP. But if you're looking for permanent work or don't want to wait until October, the major casino brand has numerous job postings all over the country, not just in Las Vegas.
Where they're hiring poker dealers
Some of the other cities Caesars is hiring dealers in include Pompano Beach (Florida), Black Hawk (Colorado), Bossier City (Louisiana), Hammond (Indiana), Reno (Nevada), Laughlin (Nevada), Council Bluffs (Iowa), Atlantic City (New Jersey), Kansas City (Missouri), Lula (Mississippi), and many other towns.
And, of course, they're hiring poker dealers in Las Vegas. On May 9 at 9 am at Caesars Palace, Caesars is having an open poker dealer audition. Twenty-five jobs will be awarded on the spot. Those interested in getting hired as a poker dealer at one of the Caesars Las Vegas card rooms should arrive on time and wear a black and white outfit, and don't forget your face mask (it's required by Nevada state law). For more information, interested parties should email rbishop@caesars.com.
This year's World Series of Poker will take place from September 30 to November 23, a huge change compared to its normal slot in the summer. Each year, Caesars hires hundreds of dealers to work the WSOP, and many of them end up getting hired full-time. So, there may be some long-term potential for those who get hired to work the WSOP.
