Cardplayer Lifestyle's Mixed Games Festival returns in early July, offering five straight days of mixed-games fun. The upcoming festival, the fifth one offered to date, runs July 2-6 at Resorts World Las Vegas and promises plenty of entertainment and bonus prizes for its participants, including a grand-prize giveaway of a trip to PokerStars' EPT Cyprus stop in October.
Festival participants earn drawing entries for the Cyprus trip just by playing, receiving one entry per hour played throughout the five-day festival. The drawing for the Cyprus package takes place at 6:00 pm on July 6. The package is valued at over $3,000 and includes the following:
- Mixed Game tournament buy-in up to €550
- Roundtrip airfare for one
- Four nights’ accommodation
Though the EPT trip is the most expensive prize to be won during the festival, there are contests and giveaways galore, with something extra in store on each of the five days, from an opening-day pizza party to a trivia contest, a scavenger hunt, and plenty of merchandise prizes.
The Mixed Games Festival V is once again due to the effort of CardPlayer Lifestyle founder Robbie Strazynski, a mixed-games enthusiast who continues to work to make many less-common poker variants a recurring feature of the Las Vegas summer poker scene.
The special contests to be offered throughout the festival include a charity component as well, as a slice of each entry fee will be donated to Poker Gives, the poker-themed effort co-founded by the late Mike Sexton.
