On Tuesday, ClubWPT Gold launched Pot-Limit Omaha games on its site, adding both cash games and multi-table tournaments in the format, while also announcing the expansion of its territory to include all Canadian provinces aside from Quebec.
ClubWPT Gold Ambassador Doug Polk, having just kicked off his latest cash game challenge, fired up his stream to show viewers the brand-new PLO tables. Polk has challenged himself to either double or bust a starting bankroll of $50,000 and took a shot at the $10/$20 PLO games – at least until a bug on the site ended the fun.
Polk also took to Reddit in the days prior to the introduction of Pot-Limit Omaha games and the northern expansion to answer any questions. While exact details about the Canadian launch remain unclear, Polk stated that the region "will be added in on Tue or Wed."
