GGPoker has announced the return of its affordably-priced microFestival, an online poker series designed with the most budget-conscious players in mind. The 2024 GGPoker microFestival begins on Sunday, June 23, and runs for 15 days, concluding on Sunday, July 7.

The microFestival offers hundreds of events over its 15-day run, all with entry fees between $1.10 and $25, and with $10 million in prize money already guaranteed to be awarded. The festival is headlined by its $10.80 Mystery Bounty Main Event, which itself carries a $1 million guaranteed prize pool and will offer a $100,000 top bounty prize.

The series debuted in 2023 and was widely approved by its micro-stakes players. As with last year's premiere, the 2024 edition will be heaviily supported by freerolls and other promotions. GGPoker will give away at least $250,000 throughout the series via multiple $5,000 freerolls offered each day.

The series is loaded with hold'em and Omaha tourneys, and within those two popular formats, there's plenty of additional variety available. The microFestival landing page includes a complete schedule showing the hundreds of events on offer. There's plenty of bounty, turbo, and short-handed action available, and there's a daily $10.80 event as well. The landing page also includes a brief FAQ section answering some of the most common questions players might have about participating in the series.

"We are incredibly excited to bring back microFestival for a second year, with bigger and better tournaments and prizes," said Sarne Lightman, Managing Director of GGPoker. "GGPoker’s goal has always been to make poker accessible and enjoyable for everyone, and with events starting at just $1, microFestival offers incredible value and excitement. Adding Second Chance freeroll tournaments is our way of thanking our players and ensuring everyone has multiple opportunities to win big."

The multiple daily $5,000 freerolls are offered as 'Second Chance' events, being open to and players who failed to cash in any event held the previous day. 50 of these freerolls -- at least three each day -- will be run.
