.Jeff Platt will play host to a night of fun and steak when the Charity Series of Poker throws its annual awards bash on February 24 at Via Brasil Steakhouse in Las Vegas.
The yearly celebration will feature dinner, drinks, and over $15,000 in cash and prizes at stake in the poker tournament to follow. It's $300 with $100 add-ons, and the buy-in includes your seat, your steak and an open bar. If you've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse, they walk around with meat and you can eat as much as you want. There's also a salad bar if you're into that kind of thing.
All you can eat, baby

Expected to attend this year's awards dinner are NOFX lead singer Fat Mike Burkett, Friday the 13th star Kane Hodder, and actress Katie Morgan. You can also hang out with poker people like Mike Matusow, Matt Savage, Tyler Patterson, Jonathan Little and Sean McCormick.
CSOP founder Matt Stout will host a free lesson at 5pm while everyone gathers to eat and drink and wait for the 7pm tournament start. If you're into the poker part, you can still enjoy the dinner and an open bar for $150, along with the raffles and a silent auction. Everything benefits the CSOP and their charitable efforts throughout the year, which total $8 million and counting over in 93 events the last 12 years.
Get your tickets at the CSOP website where you can also donate and bid on the silent auction items. Via Brasil Steakhouse is at 1225 S Fort Apache Road in Las Vegas.
