Kevin Martin has announced his return to the reality television streets. The GGPoker Ambassador shared a morbid, yet hilarious skit with his social media followers to reveal his next big project.
"I was gone for the last two months filming the Amazing Race: Canada," Martin told PokerOrg on a break in Day 3 of the MonsterStack. "It's the biggest show in Canada. It was a crazy season."
Martin has an extensive history in the Canadian reality television scene, having competed in multiple seasons of Big Brother Canada and, more recently, The Traitors Canada.
Martin established himself as a serious player in competition-based reality television when he won Big Brother Canada 5 in 2017. During his winning run, Martin set several records including becoming the first-ever Big Brother Canada winner to play a Perfect Game.
The new season of The Amazing Race Canada debuts July 2 and will see Martin paired up with Gurleen Maan, one of his fellow competitors on The Traitors Canada.
"We met on a different reality show," Martin said about Maan. "We are totally obsessed with each other. We took it to the race and we lived a villainous life out there. We played as hard as possible."
Meanwhile, Martin continues to pursue his poker passion at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas and has bagged up a big stack to take into Day 3 play today in Event #38: Monster Stack NLH.
