The Moneymaker Tour returns to Daytona Beach Racing & Card Club this week for the second time in the tour's history and as part of the club's Great American Poker Tournaments (GAPT) series.
In August of 2023, the Moneymaker Tour touched down in Daytona Beach for the first time, following the inaugural stop at the Palm Beach Kennel Club.
From April 17-29, the action-packed series - the largest-ever in Daytona Beach's history - guarantees over $600,000 in prizes across 12 trophy events.
Today marks the start of the 12-day series in Daytona Beach, kicking off with the first of eight Day 1 starting flights in the Moneymaker Mystery Bounty $200,000 GTD Kickoff Event. The remaining seven starting flights will take place throughout the rest of this week, with the Day 2 restart playing out on Sunday, April 21.
Other events highlighting the stop's schedule include the Ladies NLH, Moneymaker Mulligan NLH, Older Than Moneymaker NLH, and Moneymaker 5 Card PLO.
Main event glory awaits
This year's Daytona Beach Main Event carries a guarantee of $300,000 and offers players three Day 1 starting flights to choose from on April 25, 26, and 27.
Those fortunate and skilled players that survive the Day 1 onslaught will return for Day 2 action on April 28 - with a feature table livestream.
Day 3 will see the livestream continue as the final table combatants return to crown the latest Moneymaker Tour champion.
The last time the Moneymaker Tour came to Daytona Beach, Dion Jagroo claimed the top spot in the Main Event, winning $102,222 for his efforts.
