PokerStars is one of the world’s biggest online poker operators, but it’s also the brand behind some of the most prestigious live poker events. From the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) to the European Poker Tour (EPT), the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) and more, the PokerStars approach to running live tournament series has seen it attract huge fields across the world - most recently in Prague.
With 2025 fast approaching, PokerStars has announced a coming together of various regional live poker series under a common banner: The PokerStars Open.
These events will run throughout the year, replacing former regional tours such as the UKIPT (UK), Estrellas (Spain), FPS (France) and Eureka (Europe).
Three new locations for 2025 line-up
Six standalone stops have been announced for the coming year, starting with a new series at the Casinò di Campione poker room in Italy’s Lombardy region - a room which only recently partnered with PokerStars in launching a branded card room. New stops have also been added in Manchester (UK), and Cannes (France).
Here’s the PokerStars Open line-up for 2025.
- PokerStars Open Campione: Casino Municipale, Campione, Italy, March 10-16
- The Irish Open: The Royal Dublin Society (pictured above), Dublin, Republic of Ireland, April 10-21
- PokerStars Open Namur: Circus Casino Resort, Namur, Belgium, May 28 to June 9
- PokerStars Open Malaga: Gran Madrid Casino Torrequebrada, Malaga, Spain, June 16-22
- PokerStars Open Manchester: Casino Manchester235, Manchester, UK, October 20-26
- PokerStars Open Cannes: Casino Barriere Le Croisette, Cannes, France, December 8-14
Additional PokerStars Open events will also run at EPT Monte Carlo and EPT Barcelona.
Each stop will feature a €1,100/£1,100 Main Event with a €1M/£1M guarantee.
"We understand that players love to travel for tournaments,” said Cedric Billot of PokerStars’ Live Events team, “so we've expanded to the PokerStars Open format. This allows us greater flexibility to host million-guaranteed events across Europe, beyond just our traditional national tour locations."
