Late last night, in the heart of the Netherlands, a new WPT Prime champion was crowned. Philip Hollederer bested the field of exactly 1,000 entrants to take home the trophy.
Hollederer, from Germany, claimed the first-place prize of €171,952 for his victory. In addition, he won a coveted $10,400 ticket into the 2023 WPT World Championship later this year to give him a chance to parlay his win into an even bigger score.
With just under $50,000 in live cashes according to Hendon Mob, this is Hollederer's largest score of his career by far.
