The Sunday Million, one of PokerStars' most iconic weekly tournaments and a worldwide must-play event, celebrates its 20th year in 2026.
And the site is upping the ante with a $5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool for its special anniversary edition of the event – elevating the Sunday Million to its rightfully-earned place as one of the standout online poker tournaments of the calendar year.
With a ten-week phased structure that kicks off this Sunday, June 28, the special anniversary edition of the Sunday Million provides countless opportunities to get in on the action. The $109 Daily Heats will run until Phase 2 starts on September 6.
For the last two decades, the Sunday Million has been the tournament to play. Every weekend, thousands of players from across the globe fire up the PokerStars client and take their shot at the glory of a win.
The 2026 20th Anniversary edition of the Sunday Million highlights that legacy.
History waiting to be made
Alongside the Daily Heats, PokerStars will offer several avenues through which players can qualify for the Sunday Million. Throughout the coming weeks, you can earn your way into the action through satellite events, Spin & Go events that start as low as $0.75, and the Jet Set Season promotion that will award $300,000 worth of Phase 1 tickets.
The Sunday Million Anniversary editions have often been accompanied by inflated prize pools.
In 2021, Vanessa Kade made history when she won the largest Sunday Million top prize – $1,514,920 and she won it outright, no deal.
