PokerStars continues its quest to innovate within the poker content space with the announcement of the debut of a second season of Mystery Cash Challenge.
Following the success of the show's first iteration, PokerStars has decided to run it back with a (mostly) new cast of characters. Parker 'Tonkaaaa' Talbot is the only returning cast member, joined this time around by fellow PokerStars Ambassadors Lex Veldhuis, Benjamin 'Spraggy' Spragg, and Barny Boatman. Game of Gold star Olga Iermolcheva and YouTube sensation Alexander 'Wolfgang' Seibt round out the lineup.
New episodes start this Sunday
Mystery Cash Challenge Season 2 episodes will air on Wednesdays and Sundays, starting this Sunday, September 18. The six installments follow the same format as Season 1, with each episode featuring one round of ten hands — nine qualification hands and the final, mystery-prize-rewarding bomb pot.
In order to qualify for the tenth hand, players must win one of the nine qualifying hands. The winner of the final hand then draws from the pool of mystery prizes, which is made up of Gold and Silver Power Path passes. An additional bonus prize will sweeten the pot even further for the lucky (and skilled) winners, along with the opportunity to potentially draw a boosting power-up. On the flip side, there's one prize that the players really do not want to win.
