PokerStars has released details and dates for its upcoming 2025 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP). The 24th edition of the site's renowned online tournament series starts September 7 and runs through October 1.
Before the action kicks off, you can hone your skills at the WCOOP Boot Camp – taking place August 3-18 and featuring 69 events with over $9M in guaranteed prize pools.
WCOOP Boot Camp powered by BBZ Poker
The WCOOP Boot Camp schedule offers a variety of formats – including no-limit hold'em, 8-game, HORSE, razz, and badugi – with buy-ins from $2.20 to $5,200
There are two Main Events on the WCOOP Boot Camp schedule: the $109 NLHE Main Event with a $600K guarantee and the $1,050 NLHE Main Event with a $400K guarantee.
PokerStars has once again teamed up with BBZ Poker – the coaching program that works with several PokerStars Ambassadors – to provide free coaching sessions on August 1, 8, and 15. These coaching sessions will take place via Discord with a focus on WCOOP strategy and game formats, with WCOOP tickets also up for grabs.
BBZ Poker boasts a coaching team stacked with some of the game's top minds, including Alex 'Pwndidi' Theologis, Andy 'bowieeffect' Wilson, Jargo 'bungakat' Alavalli, and Mason 'pyefacepoker' Pye.

Win your way to WCOOP
The WCOOP Boot Camp Leaderboard and WCOOP Boot Camp Ticket Machine add to the excitement and offer players a path to win their way into WCOOP events, with $60,000 in prizes up for grabs via the Boot Camp Leaderboard and $150,000 in WCOOP tickets via the Ticket Machine.
The top 100 players on the Boot Camp Leaderboard will receive the following prizes:
- 1st to 4th: $10,300 Gold WCOOP Ticket Bundle Power Pass
- 5th to 8th: $2,500 Silver WCOOP Ticket Bundle Power Pass
- 9th to 100th: $109 Bronze Power Pass
The WCOOP Boot Camp Ticket Machine requires players to opt-in through the Challenges window on the PokerStars client from July 31 and compete in up to two challenges during the promotional period for a chance to win. Each completed challenge earns players a ticket for the Ticket Machine prize draw.
