There's fun for all types of poker players in Las Vegas while the WSOP is in town, and the chance to play several straight days of mixed games just might be on the list. Add in plenty of big names, book signings, and prize giveaways, and you have the Cardplayer Lifestyle Mixed Game Festival II, hosted by Cardplayer Lifestyle's Robbie Strazynski and including PokerStars as the primary sponsor.

Last fall's inaugural mixed-game festival was a major hit, and this year's fun moves to the brand new 30-table room at Resorts World, where festival host Strazynski has obtained a best-in-town $4 max rake per hand. The mixed games will be dealt at stakes of $4/8 and $8/16, with higher limits available upon request. (Strazynski requests that players register for each day's interest lists via the downloadable Poker Atlas, due to the expected high demand for seats.)

And... giveaways galore! Primary sponsor PokerStars returns with another huge prize for a lucky winner, a PokerStars Live Event Prize Package. The package includes a €400 buy-in, flights and hotel for a European Road to PSPC event. The winner gets to attend a PSPC stop in any one of eight different European countries -- France, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Germany, Greece, Belgium, or Slovenia -- and a shot at winning a Platinum Pass to the PokerStars Players Championship. That event will be held January 30-February 3, 2023 in the Bahamas, and that possible trip would be valued at approximately $30,000.

There's much more in store for the festival's attendees, as PokerStars and several other sponsors are contributing plenty of swag for the occasion. The prize list includes:

  • Multiple $100 gift vouchers from the PokerStars Store
  • A variety of apparel from PokerGO
  • Gift bags from BBO Poker Tables
  • Limited edition T-shirts from RunGoodGear
  • 2-deck set ups from Faded Spade Playing Cards

Additional prizes may be added, and every attendee also receives a 25% discount code to Jake Abdalla's "Upswing Poker’s Mixed Game Mastery" course. (The code is applicable to all Upswing Poker courses as well.)

Daily book signings by noted mixed-games players

On each of the festival's five days, a well-known mixed-game player will be on hand for book signings of his book, though not all the books are specific to mixed-games play. The list of guests who will be playing and signing books includes:

Sunday June 12
11:00 am - WSOP bracelet winner Dylan Linde signs his book Mastering Mixed Games, available for purchase at a discounted price of $25.

Monday June 13
11:00 am - Two-time WSOP Circuit Ring winner and poker media personality Bernard Lee signs his book Poker Satellite Success!, available for purchase at a discounted price of $20.

Tuesday June 14*
3:00 pm - WSOP bracelet winner Chris Wallace signs his just-issued book Getting Started With HORSE (co-authored with Michael and Robert Mizrachi) at a discounted price of $20.

Wednesday June 15
11:00 am - 2004 WSOP Main Event Champion Greg Raymer signs his book Fossilman’s Winning Tournament Strategies, available for purchase at a discounted price of $25.

Thursday June 16
11:00 am - Poker Hall of Famer Eli Elezra signs his autobiography Pulling the Trigger for a discounted price of $15.

*Wallace has recently noted that he's among those who has recently contracted the COVID-19 virus while at the 2022 WSOP. His and all scheduled attendees' appearances are subject to change due to late-breaking circumstances.

Strazynski excited for festival's return

Though the mixed-game tournament that wrapped up the inaugural series is no more, the relaxed atmosphere, camaraderie, and well-known players in attendance make for a fun five days of action. "I've been in Vegas for the last few days and it's amazing that pretty much everywhere I go people are buzzing about our second Mixed Game Festival," Strazynski told Poker.org. "Beyond the merch giveaways, book signings, and chance to win a €400 seat + prize package to a Road to the PSPC event in Europe, players are just excited to come and have a fun time. That's exactly the vibe we want to be creating at Resorts World over the next few days, and I can't wait to get the party started."

Raymer, Wednesday's book signer, not only attended last year's inaugural festival, but also won the PokerStars Platinum Pass that came with the tourney victory. He can't defend that title, but he will be on hand:
