The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS), a mid-major, US-based poker tour, has announced details of a new partnership with the PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT).
Highlighting the partnership between the RGPS and the NAPT is the introduction of the Golden Player of the Series leaderboard, which will award a $10,000-value Gold Pass to the NAPT Las Vegas festival at Resorts World. The leaderboard will award and reset at every RunGood tour stop prior to October 23.
Each Gold Pass prize package includes:
- $5,300 NAPT Main Event buy-in
- $2,900 Hotel Accommodations
- $1,800 Expenses
The first leaderboard competition for a Gold Pass will kick off at Thunder Valley Casino Resort from July 18 to August 5. The RunGood tour stop will put on twenty ring events, including a $250,000 guaranteed event, a $500,000 guaranteed event, and a $1,000,000 guaranteed event. Leaderboard points will be awarded based on performance in non-exclusive ring events.
“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with the NAPT and help grow the game of poker across the country," said Tana Karn, CEO of the RGPS, "The RunGood Poker Series has always looked for ways to give back to players for their continual support over the past decade. This collaboration helps further that mantra in spades.”
The entirety of the RGPS Fall season dates will release next month.
NAPT returns to Las Vegas after strong debut
The second iteration of NAPT Las Vegas will run November 1-10 and will include a RunGood-branded event on the diverse schedule of tournaments.
Following on the heels of a successful debut stop in Las Vegas in 2023, the newly re-instated NAPT promises to up the ante this time around. PokerStars is giving North America-based players countless opportunities to qualify for the Main Event both online and offline, with full details to come shortly.
