It's that time of year again.
The PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) returns to the North American tables this month for more than two weeks of tournaments with over $5.75M in guaranteed prize pools across the three player pools.
From March 21 to April 7, PokerStars players in New Jersey and Michigan, Ontario, and Pennsylvania will have the opportunity to battle for one of online poker's most prestigious awards: a SCOOP title.
SCOOP schedule highlights
In the shared liquidity pool of New Jersey and Michigan, as well as the Ontario pool, players can battle it out for their share of more than $2.25M (in USD and CAD, respectively) in prize pools across a 44-event schedule. Meanwhile, in Pennsylvania, players will compete for more than $2M in guaranteed prize pools across a 43-event schedule.
Each SCOOP series offers a range of game formats including No-Limit Hold'em, Pot-Limit Omaha, 8-Game, Pot-Limit Badugi, 2-7 Single Draw, and HORSE. Plus, with buy-ins ranging from $5 to $2,500, players of all levels and preferences will have a shot at claiming a SCOOP title.
The SCOOP Main Events will take place on April 6 across the Low, Medium, and High buy-in tiers. The $50 Low Main Event offers a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000, the $300 Medium Main Event offers a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000, and the $2,500 High Main Event offers a guaranteed prize pool of $125,000.
While buy-ins start as low as $5, players can qualify for SCOOP events through satellite tournaments priced as low as $1.

Red Spade Passes up for grabs in Michigan
Additionally, in the days preceding SCOOP, Detroit Red Wings fans in Michigan will have the chance to win an all-expenses paid road trip to Toronto to see their team take on the Maple Leafs as part of the site's latest Red Spade Pass giveaway.
Each Red Spade Pass includes VIP suite tickets to the Red Wings vs. Maple Leafs game on April 17 at Scotiabank Arena, tickets to the Hockey Hall of Fame, a two-night stay in a luxury Toronto hotel, transportation, and food and drink.
There are three ways to get your hands on a Red Spade Pass:
- Poker Faceoff Tournament – On March 5 and March 12, players can compete in an online poker tournament which awards one Red Spade Pass on each day to the champion.
- Casino Raffle Entries – Players can earn raffle entries by playing in select PokerStars Casino games between March 4-15, with two winners chosen at random.
- Postal Entry – Players can earn an additional raffle entry by sending a copy of valid US photo ID and a document with their name, address, gender, age, email address, and PokerStars username to #1096 2230 Route 70 W STE 2, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.
