We’re 30-something events into the 2025 World Series of Poker, and have already seen plenty of big hands — and we’re not just talking about the ones on those expensive watches.

But even with 35 events in the books, that means there are still 65 to go between now and mid-July. There’s a whole lot of poker to be played, so there’s no time to waste.

Luckily for you, three minutes is all it takes to get up to speed with all the biggest stories, controversies and personalities of the WSOP this week, thanks to Sarah Herring and the latest edition of The Showdown.

So hit play and strap in tight, it’s a wild ride.

Things that make you go ‘huh?’

First off, did you hear the one about the ‘live misclick’? No, not the EPT Monte Carlo Main Event final table, but the WSOP $25K High Roller.

Blaz Zerjav grabbed 3.3 million in chips, pushed them into the pot and said ‘1.3 million’.

What happened next, and what was the fallout?

Sarah has the answer (as well as at least three different ways to mispronounce ‘Blaz Zerjav’).

Then there’s the case of the missing tournament, as a WSOP online bracelet event mysteriously disappeared for a huge chunk of its players — partway through proceedings. With a million-dollar guarantee in place and huge mystery bounties awarded, how did the WSOP put the pieces back together?

Then there’s the story of the man who won the $276K top prize in a WSOP event, and somehow received an extra million dollars on top.

Sounds crazy? Not this week.

Anything can happen at the World Series of Poker, and you can be sure that when it does, Sarah will be here to share the inside story.
