The World Poker Tour (WPT) has announced the first half of its Season 23 schedule which – true to its name – will take players on a globetrotting journey, spanning four continents in the first seven events alone. The four WPT Main Tour festivals and three WPT Prime Tour stops will cover locations in Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America, providing a global backdrop for its competitors to experience.

An international assortment

Phnom Penh, Cambodia marks the initial stop on the worldwide journey as the first of the four WPT Main Tour kicks off, with the $3,500 buy-in WPT Cambodia Championship set for February 19-24 and a precursor WPT Prime Cambodia Championship in the same location set for February 14-18.

From there, the WPT Prime train rolls on to Kyrenia, Cyprus for the second annual WPT Prime Cyprus stop which runs March 6-17, with the Championship event set for March 13-17.

There's little downtime on the WPT Prime schedule as the tour takes its offerings to Gold Coast, Australia from March 13-26, with a WPT Prime Gold Coast Championship set for March 21-26.
