It's that time of the year. As spring steps into full swing, the poker world turns its attention to the rapidly approaching World Series of Poker (WSOP) summer schedule. You can almost hear the chips shuffling.

You know it's real when Daniel Negreanu is posting his pre-WSOP training plan to make us all feel totally unprepared.

Besides DNeg's training plan, another milestone drops today: Early registration for scheduled events will be officially available today via BravoPokerLive.com. Once registered on Bravo, players can sign up for individual events prior to ever landing in Vegas. The direct link for the WSOP tournament page on Bravo is https://www.bravopokerlive.com/venues/wsop/, and it's now live and active.

In addition, for the first time, prospective WSOP players can book an entire trip package, including resort accommodations and airfare, all with one click at BravoPokerLive.com. The newly-offered bundle is called the Caesars Rewards® Travel Bundle, and is touted as the way to secure the "best prices on a stay at any Caesars destination in Las Vegas for the WSOP, all while earning reward credits through Caesars Rewards."

"This year's WSOP is poised to break records with an unprecedented range of options to qualify for and attend the WSOP Main Event, widely recognized as the World Championship of poker,” said World Series of Poker Senior Vice President and Executive Director, Ty Stewart. “We’re excited to offer players an effortless and cost-effective way to book their entire trip to Paris Las Vegas and Horseshoe Las Vegas as they set their sights on becoming poker royalty this summer.”

Options available for payment are credit card, ACH, wire transfer, and cashier's check. Details, fees, and deadline information can be found on WSOP's website here. You will need a Ceasers Rewards card as well. If you don't have one, you can sign up for one online here.

Huge turnouts expected

This summer's WSOP promises to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest, ever recorded. With an unprecedented 608 tables at the ready, the recently rebranded Horseshoe Las Vegas is ready for the largest capacity any WSOP has ever seen.

Last year's Main Event nearly broke the attendance record with 8,663 entrants showing up for the marquee event, only 110 entrants shy of the record set in 2006. Many people expect this year to be even bigger, which is all the more reason to pick out your planned events and sign up early.

To look at the full slate of events, visit the WSOP official website here. If you're looking to sell action for the series, check out our recent interview with Faraz Jaka and Cedrric Trevino on how and why to do so.

Start making your plans now, even if it doesn't involve watching every Rocky and Creed movie ever made.
