The Women's Poker Association has expanded its efforts in connection with the upcoming 2023 Ladies Summer Poker Week, which is slated to be the largest and longest-running gathering of players in women's poker history. In conjunction with several other women's poker groups and numerous Las Vegas casinos, the WPA is already helping to coordinate 10 women's poker tournaments in a 10-day stretch in late June and early July, billed as "Poker Summer Camp."

Now, the WPA has released additional details on several events that compliment the tournament offerings, including an early-morning WPA Breakfast before the start of the June 29 WSOP $1,000 Ladies Championship, to be held at the Mon Ami Gabi restuarant at Paris, and a "Mimosa MUG" (Meet-Up Game) on the morning of June 27, to be hosted by Jamie Kerstetter at Wynn Las Vegas. The Kerstetter-hosted MUG is sponsored by the WPT.

The WPA has also announced an online fundraiser tourney, sponsored and hosted by Faded Spade Poker, on June 13. Participants will play on Faded Spade's no-download client and the tourney winner will receive a free entry into the $1,000 Ladies Championship. Final-table finishers will also receive prizes.

The added events bring more celebration to the record number of ladies tournaments in Las Vegas this summer, and the WPA has also published a Daily Planner to be a centralized source for information on all of the Ladies Week events. The WPA will also operate a booth at the WSOP on June 28 and 29, outside the Paris Ballroom where the WSOP Ladies Championship will be held.
