WPT Global, the World Poker Tour's online site for players outside the US, has launched two new promotions for players to enjoy this summer. In an enhancement to the WPT Passport system, WPT Global has created a pathway to directly convert WPT Global winnings into WPT Passport Dollars, which can they be used to pay online for upcoming events at World Poker Tour (WPT) stops.
WPT Global has also introduced daily and weekly Global Spins Leaderboards, where players can compete for shares of $2,000 to be awarded each day and $15,000 each week.

WPT Passport Dollars can be used in multiple ways

Rather than entering a satellite and being locked into a target prize of a pre-announced live WPT event, players can now convert an online satellite win into the new Passport Dollars, which can then be applied to any WPT stop.
The new WPT Passport Dollars framework includes several key features:
- Two types of passports: Players can win $12,400 WPT Championship Passports and $1,500 WPT Prime Passports, storing them until the right opportunity for the player to compete live.
- Redeemable for extra uses: The new WPT Passport Dollars can be used to pay for tournament seats, but they can also be used for travel expenses and other related costs.
- Multiple chances to win: Several 'WPT Passport Dollars' events will be held each week, assuring players ongoing opportunites to win the Passport Dollar. At least three such events will be held each Sunday at 18:30 ET.
- Building a 'dream poker journey': The flexibility of the new system allows players to construct their own 'dream' journey, whether that consists of a trip to a single WPT festival or a globe-spanning string of WPT and WPT Prime stops.
The WPT Passport Dollars satellites are available with buy-ins as low as $5.50. Players can accumulate multiple wins in these satellites, effectively topping up their Passport Dollars balances as they strive to compete, as an example, at live WPT Championship events.
Global Spins Leaderboards designed for grinders
The new Global Spins Leaderboards are a value-aded promotion that will drop $29,000 weekly into the WPT Global player ecosystem. Designed to reward volume play, the new leaderboards also include groupings sorted by buy-in so that even micro-stakes players have a chance to add a little extra to their bankrolls.
