Day 4 of the $3,500 World Poker Tour Seminole Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open Championship was a measured and intense day of poker with 16 players returning for the final table’s six spots. It took five hours of action to trim the field with Matthew Beinner leading the field with over 21 million.

“It happens to the biggest spot and I’m feeling amazing,” Beinner said. He only started playing two years ago when turned 21. He has a respectable $417,000 in tournament earnings but secured his first WPT cash. He added, “I’m always the youngest person when I play.”

“I showed up to Florida to hang out with my family and was going to play a little bit of poker,” he added. “I’m also working, and miracles happen sometimes. First (place) would be incredible, but looking at those payouts, they’re pretty good no matter what.”

Landon Tice sits close in second place with 18.6 million, Dylan Smith (12.25 million) and Florian Ribouchon (9.4 million) occupy the middle of the counts with Paul Domb (6.5 million) and Francis Anderson (3.3 million) rounding out the final table.

“It’s a big spot but I’m not nervous at all, I’m excited,” Domb said about making his first WPT final table. “I love the game – it’s a metaphor for life. You can do everything right and lose and then do everything wrong and win, so it’s always interesting to me.”

Smith has two WPT cashes and final tabled the 2024 WPT SHRPS for fifth place. Anderson is fresh off an eighth place run two weeks ago at WPT bestbet Jacksonville and finished in sixth place in this event in 2019.

Tice has had massive success at the Seminole Hard Rock - home of his largest cashes and deepest runs. He likes the home-field advantage that his family provides while playing in South Florida.

Ribouchon has five WPT cashes – four from Europe and a 109th-place finish in the 2023 WPT World Championship. He finished runner-up in the 2023 World Series of Poker Millionaire Maker for over $1 million.

Each player returning to action has $140,000 locked up but they’re all playing for $662,200 and a seat in the WPT World Championship. They also earned a Golden Passport to the ClubWPT Gold $5 million freeroll during the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.

Darryll Fish final tabled this event in 2023 for sixth place and while most players would be looking for redemption, he was just grateful to be there. He bubbled the live-streamed final table by busting in seventh place.

Roman Korenev (16th) was the first player eliminated on the day. He was followed by Alexandre Reard (14th), Benjamin Jones (13th), Drew O’Connell (9th) and Matthew Wantman (8th) each earned a healthy, five-figure cash for their efforts on Tuesday.

The final table gets cards in the air at 1:00 pm with a live-streamed final table. WPT Executive Tour Director Matt Savage will be on commentary alongside some of Florida’s finest players.
