The World Series of Poker Circuit has wrapped up its Thunder Valley stop and now the roadshow will shift coasts to Harrah's Pompano Beach in the heart of Florida's Gold Coast for a series that runs from Oct. 10-23.
The popular series offers over $2.5 million in guarantees headlined by the $1,700 Main Event, which offers a $1 million guarantee and three flights starting on Oct. 19.
Last time out, Hamid Izadi outlasted a field of 917 players to win $245,225 from a prize pool of just over $1.3 million.
Big guarantees all series long
The series kicks off at 11 am on Thursday, Oct. 12 with a $400 NLH one-day opener tournament with a $30,000 guarantee and the opening day of the $600 multi-flight tournament that offers a minimum prize pool of at least $500,000. The multi-day features four flights from Thursday through Saturday and a Day 2 on the first Sunday of the series.
Other highlights in the early schedule include a one-day $600 event on Saturday, Oct. 14 with $50,000 guaranteed and the $400 Seniors event on Sunday, Oct. 15 with another $50,000 prize pool.
Sunday also brings the first day of the $1,100 Mystery Bounty with two opening flights, a $300,000 guarantee, and a Day 2 on Tuesday, Oct. 17. The $400 Monster Stack will also kick off on Tuesday with two opening flights and a $200,000 guarantee.
The Main Event starts on Thursday, Oct. 19 with the first of three flights at 11 am and the big guarantee of $1 million. Surviving players will return on Sunday, Oct 22. to play down to the final table on Monday. The closing weekend will also offer side events, including another $400 Seniors event with a $50,000 guarantee, a $2,200 High Roller with a $100,000 guarantee, and the $400 Closer with a $30,000 guarantee to wrap up the series.
