A busy late summer for tournament poker around the globe continues today with the return of the Signature Series at Wynn Las Vegas. What began as the Signature Weekend in 2016 and has since evolved into a series offered multiple times each year returns with a 28-event schedule spread across 25 days of play, running through September 7, 2023.
This third edition of 2023 for the Wynn Signature Series will guarantee at least $2.2 million in prize money for what remains an affordably priced alternative to many of the high-end series running this summer around the globe. With event buy-ins beginning at $200 and nothing pricier than $1,100 on the slate, the Wynn Signature Series continues to cater to Las Vegas's large local population of poker pros.
The series is anchored by two events that each offers a $500,000 prize-pool guarantee. One of those is the series' main event, a no-limit hold'em tournament with a $1,100 buy-in that offers the first of three starting flights on Thursday, August 24.
The second tourney with a $500,000 guarantee is one of the favored offerings in Wynn festivals, a mystery-bounty event. With a $600 buy-in and four starting flights on consecutive days beginning Wednesday, August 30, this event will likely out-draw the "main" in terms of total entries.
