Jaman Burton made his name in the poker scene by becoming a prominent poker vlogger. He regularly vlogs his mid-stakes cash game sessions and oversees the popular Drawing Dead Poker vlogs. Away from poker, he’s enjoyed a successful corporate career and is a qualified computer scientist, as well as a dedicated parent.
When it comes to Burton’s poker content, it’s clear many tune in to his streams and videos because he is hugely relatable. He’s by no means the perfect poker player – and nor would he claim to be – but he’s learning all the time and prepared to acknowledge and review any errors at the tables with his followers in a candid fashion.
In 2020, the GPI Poker Awards had Burton nominated in their category for Vlogger of the Year. The pandemic slowed down his progress, and he had to focus on short-form content for the next year or so, but another nomination came in 2021. Away from the felt, Burton has also maintained full-time employment as a cloud architect at Bayer, a pharmaceutical and biotech giant.
Some of his most popular poker vlogs have covered Burton’s cash game sessions at the $2/$5 tables. He also regularly takes shots at the $5/$10 levels, demonstrating a commitment to bettering himself and growing his poker bankroll.
More recently, Burton has been active on the World Series of Poker (WSOP) scene and cash games at some of the most illustrious poker venues in Las Vegas, including the Wynn and the Bellagio poker rooms.
