Jon 'Slow Poker' Rand is a late arrival to the poker landscape, having built a decades-long career around comedy writing for the stage, and only discovering the game well into his mid-thirties.
During quarantine, Jon launched the YouTube series Slow Poker, which some call poker meets Family Guy, which of course is an insult as, by comparison to Jon, Seth MacFarlane is a talentless lobotomy patient.
Jon is known to many from his stint as the poker fugitive in the Runner Runner nationwide manhunt and by others for his Grammy-snubbed poker parodies (e.g. F**k Me Got Bluffed By the Seven Deuce), and still others from that time he correctly folded pocket kings preflop after which President Biden awarded him the Medal of Freedom.
Jon lives in America with his wife and children, some of whom subscribe to his channel.
