Schedules for PokerStars’ North American Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) have been unveiled, with literally hundreds of tournaments on offer. The action across all four states/regions runs from April 5-22.

Separate versions of SCOOP are running in Pennsylvania, Ontario and New Jersey/Michigan, each with a guaranteed prize pool and its own schedule of events. Common to each, however, is the classic SCOOP format of each tourney running in Low, Medium and High buy-in levels.

New Jersey/Michigan

Players in the combined multi-state player pool comprising New Jersey and Michigan have $3m in guarantees to shoot for.

Some upcoming tournament highlights include:

  • $300k GTD in the Main Event [Medium] and $150k in the Main Event [High], April 21
  • A series of ‘Mixed Game Mondays’ offering Badugi, HORSE and Razz events
  • A hold’em PKO event with a buy-in of just $5, April 6
  • 5-Card PLO, 2-7 Triple Draw and 8-Game events

$30k in value added to Path to SCOOP satellites

PokerStars has also announced an extra $30k has been added to the Path to SCOOP promotion, giving players in Ontario, PA, MI and NJ more chances to spin up a free $0.25 ticket to a $100 SCOOP entry.

Extra cash will also be awarded to each series’ SCOOP Player of the Year, with a trophy awaiting the overall leaderboard champion.

All North American versions of SCOOP run from April 5-22, with the global version to follow in May.
