The OSS Cub3d, America's Cardroom's longest-running major poker series, returns on August 1, 2021. It's the 12th edition of the OSS Cub3d to run on ACR and other Winning Poker Network (WPN) sites, this time offering a record $20 million in prize-pool guarantees over its month-long run.

The series includes several events with guarantees of $1 million and up. The list is topped by the $2.5 million offered during the OSS Cub3d's final week in the "BOSS Event #45", a multi-flight tourney with a $630 buy-in. Satellites and entry flights to this $2.5 million event span the entire month.

The hundreds of events offered throughout ACR's OSS Cub3d series continue a loaded tournament summer at ACR. The series overlaps by just a few days the $10 million Venom series, which wraps up its own run on August 4. The Venom and OSS Cub3e series headline more than $90 million in tourney guarantees offered by ACR through July and August.

OSS, MOSS and BOSS

The OSS Cub3d series is a conglomeration of three separate series under a single banner. ACR's original Online Super Series (OSS) dates back to 2012. It was designed to rival the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in an online sense, though it quickly grew to become one of several prominent rivals to PokerStars' "COOP" (Championship of Online Poker) offerings.

ACR almost immediately added a "MOSS" family of events that ran parallel to the OSS slate. The MOSS (Mini Online Super Series) offered the same range of events at very affordable buy-ins. A couple of years later, ACR introduced the "BOSS" (Bigger Online Super Series) schedule, which offers high-roller versions of the MOSS and OSS tourneys.

The OSS Cub3d is offered in three-wave affair, with exceptions for long-running events and satellite tourneys. The low-buy-in MOSS events come first, in early August. The mid-priced OSS slate then runs through the middle of the month. The big-ticket BOSS tourneys occupy the OSS Cub3d's final week. The complete schedule of OSS Cub3d events is available on the ACR site.

Three different main events

Each of the three subseries includes its own leaderboards and main event. The MOSS main, on August 7-8, is a PKO (Progressive Knockout) event with a $500,000 prize pool guarantee and a $55 buy-in.

Once the MOSS run ends, the OSS slate takes over. The OSS main event guarantees $1,000,000 in prizes and features a $630 buy-in. Its Day 1 begins on Sunday, August 22nd. That leaves the BOSS main event, which also offers a $1 million guarantee. The event, with a $2,650 buy-in, has its opening day on Sunday, August 29th.

The BOSS slate also includes a $1 million PKO event that begins earlier in the OSS Cub3d's final week. Many of ACR's standard slate of weekly tourneys have also been upgraded and included in the month-long series.
