GGPoker, partypoker award massive paydays in March online festivals
The month isn’t even halfway over, but March 2021 already produced some of the biggest poker paydays we’ve seen yet in 2021.
The main events from the partypoker MILLIONS Online, GGPoker Super MILLION$ Week, and World Poker Tour Venetian live series all made headlines, with big payouts doled out at the top of the money ladder. Huge poker tournament scores weren’t just limited to those main events, however, as several other March 2021 events resulted in big money for tournament winners.
Here’s a look at some of the biggest winners from this month so far, outside of the “main event” category:
Michael Addamo wins the partypoker MILLIONS Online Mega High Roller
The partypoker MILLIONS Online $5,300 Main Event saw the top two finishers come to terms on an almost even split of around $1.5 million. That wasn’t the biggest payday awarded in the MILLIONS Online festival, however.
Event #28: $102,000 Mega High Roller featured the largest buy-in across the series, and predictably drew a field full of poker's toughest high-rolling competition. The eventual winner came as no surprise either.
Michael Addamo took down the Mega High Roller, taking home a $1,310,715 payday in the process. The $3 million guaranteed tournament drew 35 entries, pushing the actual final prize pool to $3.5 million.

Addamo continued his run as possibly the world’s most successful online player over the course of the last two years. Addamo outdueled Florian Loehnert (2nd - $805,000) in heads-up play, clinching yet another major win.
A lineup of poker crushers rounded out the final table, including Christoph Vogelsang (3rd - $525,000), Artur Martirosian (4th - $364,000), Mikita Badziakouski (5th - $269,500), and Jake Schindler (6th - $225,785).
Ludovic Geilich, Bert Stevens chop GGPoker Super MILLION$ Week Super High Roller
GGPoker’s Super High Rollers Week featured a tournament lineup aimed to draw poker’s high-stakes regulars. Two of those familiar faces on the high-roller scene split the lion’s share of the prize money in Event #30: $25,500 Super High Roller.
Ludovic Geilich came away as the official winner from the Super High Roller, taking a $635,080 winner’s prize per the terms of a heads-up deal between the final two players. The other player involved in that agreement, Bert Stevens (2nd - $655,288), landed an even bigger cash prize, however.

Other final table finishers included ‘hastga_fold’ (3rd - $418,947), high-stakes fixture David Yan (4th - $316,226), and Daniel Dvoress (5th - $238,691).
Arsenii Malinov (6th - $ 180,166) and Sami Kelopuro (7th - $135,991), both coming off recent wins in GGPoker’s weekly Super MILLION$ $10,300 High Roller, finished sixth and seventh, respectively.
David Coleman (8th - $102,648) and ‘level29’ (9th - $77,479) rounded out the final nine.
