$501,916 and progressive bounties on the line as The Venom plays to a winner tonight
The Venom PKO guaranteed $5 million, achieved a $7,160,000 prize pool, and set a new standard yet again for what’s possible in U.S.-facing online poker tournaments.
The Spring 2021 edition of The Venom played down to the final eight players Tuesday, and those eight players return tonight to compete for the championship. The Venom PKO final table reconvenes at 5pm EDT on the Winning Poker Network, and you can catch live stream coverage on the Americas Cardroom Twitch channel.
The field trimmed down from 48 at the start of Tuesday’s Day 3 action, playing down to the final table by the end of the night. A $501,916 first-place prize awaits tonight’s winner, along with what will end up as a massive addition to that payout in the form of progressive bounties.

The current edition of The Venom marks the sixth time WPN has run the tournament. This tournament plays out as the second of four chapters of The Venom scheduled to run on WPN in 2021.
Since introducing The Venom in the summer of 2019, the $2,650 buy-in tournament has become the biggest prize pool online poker tournament available to U.S. players. This edition of The Venom PKO generated the third-largest prize pool in the history of WPN, only eclipsed by the Summer 2020 and Winter 2021 chapters.
