Paris and Cyprus return as PokerStars announces 2024 EPT schedule

PokerStars has unveiled its itinerary for the European Poker Tour (EPT) 2024, including returns to two stops that made their tour debuts in 2023.

The French capital will once again host the first stop in the 2024 calendar, this time taking place at Le Palais des Congrès, February 14-25. A new, larger venue in Paris was always a possibility after last year's main event drew huge numbers, its 1,606 entries making it one of the biggest and most successful in the tour's history.

The eventual winner, Razvan Belea, won over €1.1 million after qualifying online at PokerStars, and the site with the red spade is once again running satellites for those looking to follow in the Romanian's footsteps. Packages for the EPT Main Event, as well as the France Poker Series (FPS) equivalent, can be won via dedicated satellites or the Power Path route, available from today.

Cyprus, Prague, Monte Carlo and Barcelona all back for more

After hosting its first EPT last month, the return of EPT Cyprus, October 9-20, means the schedule for 2024 is effectively a repeat of this year's calendar. But while no new stops have been added, or removed, the result is a schedule that's been proven to go down well with players across Europe and the wider world.

EPT Monte-Carlo will once again keep its springtime slot, running from April 24 to May 4, and Prague will close the calendar year once more at the Hilton Hotel, December 4-15. The perennially popular EPT Barcelona, meanwhile, will celebrate its 20th anniversary, August 26 to September 8, so expect some special events to be unveiled nearer the time.
