The six starting flights of the NAPT Main Event have seen 1,095 entries, which means the first NAPT-branded tourney for 12 years has beaten its guarantee by over $100,000. 252 players will return for the combined Day 2, November 9, duking it out for the biggest chunk of the $1,609,650 prize pool. The final 159 players will make the money, with $268,945 reserved for the winner.
With a stack of 681,000, chip leader Parker Talbot has plenty of room to manoeuvre; his closest rival is Andrew Moreno, with 492,000 chips good for second place. We’d never play favorites, but it’s always great to see a member of the PokerOrg Player Advisory Board doing well. Good luck Amo4Sho!

Chip leader Talbot, who found fame crushing online games on Twitch under his alias ‘TonkaaaaP’, has never won a live tournament despite his many online accomplishments. To win this one he’ll first have to navigate a draw that sees him seated with Anthony Zinno for the start of Day 2.
Play is scheduled to start at 12pm local time, while Day 3 will see the action kick off on the live stream. Follow all the action as it happens with PokerOrg Instant.
