Second leg of the OSS Cub3d X series running from August 10-23

Part two of the $15 million guaranteed OSS Cub3d X series kicked off this week on the Winning Poker Network.

The Online Super Series represents the second of three legs of OSS Cub3d X, a month-long series of tournaments on WPN offering a total of $15 million in guaranteed prize money. The Online Super Series leg of the event runs from August 10-23, featuring buy-ins ranging from $4.20 to $1,050 for most events.

The outlier of that buy-in range comes in OSS #126 - $150,000 Guaranteed Super High Roller, which comes at a $2,650 entry point. Aside from that high roller event, however, all tournaments in this second phase of the OSS Cub3d X feature buy-ins geared toward a variety of different bankrolls.

Plenty of guaranteed money awaits in the OSS, with game variants including Progressive Knockout, Pot-Limit Omaha, turbo, hyper turbo, and of course traditional No-Limit Hold'em.

Six-figure prize pools to start the OSS

The first leg of OSS Cub3d X, the Mini Online Super Series, wrapped up August 9, rolling right into the start of the next phase of the $15 million guaranteed series.

The Online Super Series kicked off Monday with 10 events, including OSS #1 - $80,000 guaranteed. That $88 buy-in tournament drew 1,408 total entries, pushing the final prize pool well over the guarantee at $112,640. The three-day tournament produced a champion, 'Amashbox11', who took home a $14,423 payday for the first-place finish.

Tuesday's OSS slate featured the $1,050 buy-in OSS #13 - $100,000 Guaranteed 8-Max. The unlimited re-entry event produced 131 total entries, putting the final prize pool at $131,000. 'MehReg' took down the championship in OSS #13, earning a $32,750 cash prize at the end of the two-day tournament.

Other six-figure prize pool events included OSS #14 - $85,000 Guaranteed High Roller. That $630 buy-in tournament drew 227 total entries, pushing the prize pool up to $136,200. Tournament champion 'oopsiedaises' garnered a $29,283 payday for the first-place run.

OSS #25 - $100,000 Guaranteed High Roller 8-Max, attracted 239 total entries to the one-day event Wednesday. The tournament prize pool ended up at $143,400, with 'BarryBadrnth' taking the win and earning $30,831.

More big guarantees on the way

Thursday's Online Super Series schedule features OSS #32 - $125,000 Guaranteed. Offering the biggest guarantee of any OSS event so far, this tournament has a $215 buy-in, with the eventual winner earning at least $62,500.

More six-figure guaranteed tournaments are on the way this weekend, including Saturday's $109 buy-in OSS #50 - $100,000 Guaranteed Sunday Warm Up 8-Max.

Sunday's OSS offerings include OSS #59 - $150,000 Guaranteed The Lunch High Roller 8-Max, OSS #61 - $250,000 Guaranteed Sunday Special, and OSS #62 - $150,000 Guaranteed 8-Max.

The Online Super Series phase of OSS Cub3d X runs through August 23, culminating with OSS #128 - $1,000,000 Guaranteed Main Event. That $630 buy-in tournament takes place as one of two $1 million guaranteed tournaments on the OSS Cub3d X schedule.

The Venom kicks off OSS Cub3d X as the biggest-ever WPN tournament

The OSS Cub3d X began with The Venom, a $7 million guaranteed tournament that ended up awarding the biggest payout in the history of the Winning Poker Network.

The Venom featured a $2,650 buy-in, and drew 3,872 total entries. The four-day tournament saw the prize pool balloon to $9.68 million, with both the winner and runner-up coming away with million-dollar-plus paydays.

‘TRT-Vitor’ won the tournament and took home $1,394,821 after the final two players made a deal before heads-up play. Marty ‘forrestranfar’ Mathis finished second, earning $1,282,666.
