It’s official, the World Series of Poker Paradise Main Event has hit the $15,000,000 guarantee.
The four live starting flights–plus the GGPoker online flight–drew a total of 3,010 entries to generate a prize pool of $15,050,000.
The 447 players that advanced through their starting flight earned themselves the minimum prize of $8,500, but all of them will have their eyes on the top prize of $2,000,000 and the prestige of becoming the inaugural WSOP Paradise Main Event Champion.
There are a number of notables amidst the Day 2 competitors, including Chino Rheem, Timothy Adams, Shaun Deeb, Faraz Jaka, Adrian Mateos, Sam Greenwood, and Chris Brewer.
Game of Gold alums Kevin Martin, Daniel Negreanu, Olga Iermolcheva, Josh Arieh, Fedor Holz, David Williams, Maria Ho, and Johan “YoH Viral” Guilbert, are all still in the hunt and looking to win a different kind of gold this time.
WSOP Main Event winners Espen Jorstad, Daniel Weinman, and Damian Salas may have already used up their Main Event run-good, but they’ve all been there before and might just pull it off again.
Phil Hellmuth took his last shot at finding a Day 2 bag earlier today in the Day 1D turbo flight, but couldn’t put together the run he needed to take a shot at the win.
Thankfully, GGPoker brings you all the coverage live on their YouTube channel, check it out below!
